Lake Travis Cavs defeats Kerrville Tivy! 37 to 33!

In an exciting game that went down to the wire, the Lake Travis Cavs defeated the Tivy Antlers by a score of 37 to 33.  Tivy led Lake Travis for much of the game, leading 19-16 at the half.  Trailing by as much as ten points during much of the second half, Lake Travis was able to pull ahead for good in the fourth quarter with 11:52 left in the game.

For the second week in a row, Lake Travis was playing without Quarterback Michael Brewer, who was injured at the end of the game versus Hendrickson.  However, Colin Lagasse did an awesome job again at Quarterback this week.  Colin also managed to help save the Cavs from defeat by intercepting a Tivy pass in the end zone with 2:23 left in the game to stop a determined, final Antler advance from their own 10 yard line.  Lake Travis managed to get enough first downs after the final turnover to run out the clock for well-deserved win.

Lake Travis is now 3-1 heading into District play next week as they compete against Dripping Springs.
