FINAL SCORE, Quarterfinal Playoffs: Lake Travis 21, Cedar Park 20
In a rematch between two Austin area powerhouses, the Lake Travis Cavs proved victorious over Cedar Park in the Quarterfinal Playoffs. The game, which was held at UT’s Darrell K. Royal Stadium on Campus, proved to be a close one. Cedar Park scored first, leading 7-0, and then followed up with a field goal to make it 10-0 at the end of the first quarter. However, Cameron Wrinkle’s 39 yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter put Lake Travis back in the game. A fumble by Cedar Park led to a Lake Travis touchdown which gave the Cavs two touchdowns within a minute to put them up 14-10 going into the half.
