Local Author releases New Book

Have you ever been concerned that personal information on or from your smartphone, iPad, or laptop is secure? Norton and McAfee can find viruses and Trojan software, but are they able to detect something within hardware? Something “extra” from China?  Like an embedded chip that Twitter, Facebook, and other social networks can access anytime and anywhere…

Unfortunately, this is no longer just fodder for spy movies and conspiracy theories. New technologies will make this possible. Our smart-devices might even be used as weapons against us.

Dormant Curse is a Novel that describes just how this can happen. It’s a cyberterrorism-conspiracy thriller describing real technology and geopolitics.

John Ellis, a local Bee Cave area resident and author, of Dormant Curse. The book is available at Amazon, and Barnes and Noble. You can order a signed copy from the Dormant Curse website.
